Thanks for this app!
I like the hunt timer, but don't pay enough attention to it to use it as a sort of interval timer for my count presses. A small timer by the hunt count that resets when you tap to update the count could be handy. At least in those moments where you aren't sure if you updated your count or not...
Also, in regards to the actually hunt timer, it might be nice to be able to edit it. For instance if you moved the hunt to your app from a different counter. Or if you had to leave the hunt suddenly and didn't back out of the hunt to stop the timer. Maybe an option to auto-pause the timer if a certain amount of time has passed since the last count update.

I actually just figured out I could tap the timer to pause right after posting here, lol. A bit of a facepalm moment but I couldn't edit my post. Thanks for thinking of that!
And yeah I didn't think of performance impact, definitely more important than a stopwatch.
By the way, I love the clean and nice look you've made. It is really pleasing to look at. Plus the pokemon images help keep me motivated on a longer hunt by reminding me why I'm resetting my game thousands of times.

Yeah, in my original app I had an interval track kind of like the lap time on a stopwatch and I remember finding it handy at times to see if i had already clicked the encounter. It started to mess with app performance a bit, but i'll see if I can come up with a nice way to do time since last encounter for those moments.
The next release will include the ability to edit the timer. Also, if you tap the timer it will pause. I don't think it's very obvious though so i might need to figure out a pause button or some other way to educate users that they don't have to go out of the hunt just to pause it because I can imagine that is irritating.
The auto-pause idea is definitely a good idea.
